Meet the founders

Hi friends!

With a lot of new faces on our page we wanted to finally introduce ourselves to you. We are so excited you are here!

I'm Alyssa and I am one of the main faces and voices of Skylar & Skyler. Aside from running our small business, I am engaged to my fiancé Justin, and I am a momma to my daughter Skylar (our namesake), a rambunctious little child (who you might see from time to time on Instagram).

I love being busy and creative- it's where I thrive the most. I went to FIDM originally for Visual Communications & Merchandising and then quickly switched to Interior Design. Since graduating FIDM in 2016 I have been in the design world ever since. There was a short period of time where I left Interior Design and went to work retail. Surprisingly, I ended up loving it so much! I love the connection and interaction between customers and getting to be apart of their shopping experience. If im not working you might find me at home with my family, out and about grabbing a matcha latte or soaking up the sun in one place or another. Owning my own business has always been a goal of mine and I'm so excited we got to make that happen in 2023. It has not been easy but it sure has been worth it and we are so stoked to have you apart of our new family, Skylar & Skyler.

Hello everyone, I’m Nicole!

I’m the other half of Skylar & Skyler, and I’m pleased to introduce myself to those of you that don’t know me.

Apart from Skylar & Skyler, I’m currently getting my Masters of Education and credential to teach elementary education from Cal State Fullerton. I love music, movies, finding new places to eat, traveling to new cities, and of course, clothes and fashion! Fashion has been close to my heart for as long as I can remember; it’s been one of the primary ways I express myself. It’s always so much fun to throw together different outfits with what I have in my closet- and mix it up every day depending on how I’m feeling. That’s why I’m always so excited to pick out pieces for you all that you can keep in your closet for a really long time, and mix and match to create fun, unique outfits!
